A Leap of Faith
In January 2025 I had the honor to attend a leadership conference for cancer advocates committed to creating a more inclusive, diverse and supportive cancer community. I also had the opportunity to challenge myself, and face my fear of heights! I climbed that 35 foot telephone pole in the middle of the desert, figured a way to get up onto that tiny wooden platform, with a partner who I met 5 minutes before we climbed and took a "quantum" leap of faith off the platform.
